I have just started Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children. My people can fish now. But how can they grow crops? I drag them on "fertile soil" but they are confused.

You have to reach level 2 Engineering first. Then try to drop a builder on the rocks near the strem not far from the "fertile soil". They will build a dam. That will irrigate the land and try then to drag a farmer on that piece of soil. They will start working.

The game is peculiar in a way. Rather engaging.
I took interest in it. I don't sit with it for hours. I just needn't. I teach them and then they do everything themselves. (well, not always, but it doesn't damage my village). I try to check them back once or twice a day. My first attemts were not successful, but now we are okey.
I played the first part A New Home. I expected to have better graphics in the sequel. Well it seems more polished but all the items are too tiny. I would like to have a better zoom option.

The same with me I like this sim game but it badly lacks a better zoom. When dragging someone the screen moves slowly. No good.

But the idea of Virtual Villagers is great. Addicting.

Well, i agree that the graphics are not cool, but the idea is great!!! I also like Jewel Quest Mysteries. It's a nice match-three puzzle with hidden-objects elements.

    Version: Demo

Hand Up Pros:  Good graphics, challenging!

Hand Down Cons:  Too much of a "Sims" wannabe and fails to keep your attention, everything so slow!

Comment Comment:  This series has failed to keep my attention each time and this one is no better, boring and just not fun at all!!
