Pure Hiddengametakes an unusual approach. After a brief but impressive welcome cut-scene, you meet a very weird plant: Game Tree. Its stalks and tendrils gracefully curl all over the screen. As soon as you progress, little buds appear eventually turning into flowers and then into fruit boxes filled with special games for you.
The first fruit box welcomes you with a hidden object scene. At the bottom of the screen is a list of items you need to find. After locating an item, it vanishes and the list adds new items. To get the key to the next fruit-box, you need to find the object listed in purple. Then you can either leave the level and open the next one, or complete the current scene.
Items merge well into background with some being impossible to see even after using a hint. Despite this, the difficulty of Pure Hidden is above the average. This is due to all the diversity of hidden object locations. Hidden object scene can be overloaded with items looking look like a collage, an old poster or a black and white texturized photo.
The hard to find items work out OK since Pure Hidden gives you as many pink star hints as you want except you need to wait until the hint refills. Moreover, you are not punished for wrong clicks. So no pressure.
The game comes with two modes of play: Zen Mode (relaxed) and Score Mode where you need to beat the level as fast as you can using as few hints as possible. The better you do, the higher your score.

Pros: What i prefered about pure hidden is that the good ideas of the game don't need any coherence between them. We easily accept to see all these great things put together in the same eclectic game.
