Pros: Original game play. Intriguing quests and challenging puzzles. Castle map.
Cons: Some difficult quests. Fairy's voice squeaks and irritates.
Want to experience something fresh? Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse gives you exactly. The game has something special that will charm you.
The game puts you in the middle of a mysterious fairy tale full of unexpected twists of events. Its extraordinary game play will keep you challenged throughout the game. The story takes you to the Middle Ages where you play the role of Princess Isabella. You are engaged to Prince Adam and your wedding is coming up. But a great misfortune befalls your family. One day you return home to learn that an evil witch cast a spell on the royal castle trapping all of its inhabitants in mirrors. What's more horrible is that the broken mirror pieces are scattered all over the castle. Only you can remove the curse to set everyone free. Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse integrates a bit of hidden object, a bit of quests and a bit of puzzles into its game play. All the tasks nicely weave into the plot creating an enjoyable experience. You need to remove the evil spells from every room of the castle by solving challenging quests and playing tricky puzzles. A little fairy will be your helping hand so you're not alone. In the beginning, she simply fulfills the role of providing hints. As you advance, she gains more helpful abilities like breaking items, burning things, watering objects and cleaning dusty things with wind. Every room of the castle has unique secrets and puzzles. When you enter a room for the first time, it's dark due to the curse. Find the way to remove the spell to bring the light back into the room. Curse removal involves different activities ranging from hunting for hidden objects and looking for ingredients to make a special potion to playing a tune and exterminating a huge plant. Additionally, you can't get into locked rooms until you solve a puzzle or find a key. As you rummage the castle, you collect mirror pieces. When you find all the pieces, you can go to Reflection Room to put the pieces together and free a person from mirror imprisonment. He or she tells you something important or gives you important things like keys, a marble for a puzzle mini-game or a new ability for your fairy. Your little guiding friend is not the only one who helps you in your quest. You also have access to a special book with a map and journal that counts the mirror pieces you collect. The castle is gigantic and the map indeed comes in handy. You can jump between the rooms with its help. Plus it also shows the status of the room by letting you know whether it's cursed, clear or has puzzles left. The difficulty levels in the puzzles vary. Some are easy, some are baffling. The most annoying feature in the game is the fairy's squeaky voice. You know what to do if it bothers you: turn off the sound. The most striking feature about Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse is that you never know what happens next. It keeps you interested and continues to challenge you with its intriguing events and puzzles. To cap it all, Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse has impressive artwork and provides a totally fresh experience.

this game is really nice and well worth the money
Agree with you, lady13. Princess Isabella: A Witchs Curse is like Mortimer series. A good equivalent while we wait for Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King.
I’ve recently downloaded Princess Isabella game and can’t stop playing. It’s different from other HO. And the mini-games are cool. I especially like the one with constellations (where you must arrange starts to make fish, hare and so on). The game is worthy its price.
