Party Down is a new time management game with elements of simulation. Your task is to cater Hollywood parties and serve celebrities. It’s a great chance to mingle with stars and achieve great success. Party Down features an original theme and is packed with innovative twists.
- Look at the bubble above the star’s head to see where he wants to sit. Drag him to this very couch.

- When the star is comfortable, a bubble appeared for food. Get it for him by clicking on the plate of chicken by the kitchen or a glass of wine by the bar. Click on the star to deliver it to him.
- You cannot serve a guest anything if there are dirty dishes in front of them. Click on the plate to remove it. Throw the dishes away in the trash. If you ever pick up a wrong dish to serve a guest, you can also throw it in the trash.

- Guests love to mingle and chat. There are special conversation areas for this. Up to four people can talk in one area. Drag them there.

- Match people with the same conversation interests to start them talking.
- You can have two different conversations on the same mat.
- There are four major conversation bubbles: sports, money, fashion, and movies.

- Keep an eye on the clock and the tip meter. There is a bronze, silver and gold goal for each level. Reach the bronze goal before time runs out to move on.
- Your staff can talk with anyone who has a conversation bubble over their head.
- This is Hollywood, so some guests are more popular than others. Visitor’s popularity is indicated by stars on the conversation bubble. A star’s popularity can range from zero to six stars.

- If your staff member has no stars and is not popular enough, the guest won’t be interested in wasting their time talking to her.

- Your popularity only increases if you talk to a guest with the same amount of stars as you or less!
- When your staff member has gained a star, click on the star over her portrait and you can upgrade her/her abilities.

- Your team members have different skills. Each star earns you three points. You can apply them to speed up VIP conversation, or increase the speed of their main skill.
