Welcome to the walkthrough for Letters from Nowhere 2!

General Information

Letters from Nowhere 2, the sequel to the original Letters from Nowhere, is a hidden object game with inventory based puzzles. This walkthrough includes general information and strategy guide to complete the game.

Main Menu

Adventure Mode - The main mode. To start the game click on Play.

Unlimited Mode - Additional mode of play. It is unlocked after you find 50 stamps. In Unlimited Mode you can choose any location and race against the clock. Find all the hidden items as fast as you can!

Puzzle Mode - Additional mode which contains all the mini-games. It is unlocked after you find 32 back cats. If you skipped a mini-game in Adventure Mode, you can complete it in Puzzle Mode any time.

Trophy Room - All your trophies are located in the Trophy Room. You can publish all your trophies to your Awem account.

Options - In the Options menu you can adjust the following settings: music volume, sound volume, custom cursor, full screen and help panel (with brief help on bonuses, cats and stamps).

 

Collect 50 stamps to unlock Unlimited Mode. In Unlimited Mode you can choose any location and race against the clock. Find all the hidden items as fast as you can!

Puzzle Mode

Find 32 black cats to unlock Puzzle Mode. If you skipped a mini-game in Adventure mode, you can play it in Puzzle Mode and get a trophy.

How to Play

Main Menu – Click Menu button to get to the Main Menu.

Stamps – There are three stamps on each location.

Mini-games – Some items in the location hide mini-games. Such items are written in purple in the list of items to find. Click such an item on the location to play the mini-game. After you complete the mini-game you unlock an artifact.

Items to find – There twelve hidden objects on each location.

Hints - There is an unlimited number of hints, but you need to wait until the hint recharges after the previous usage. A hint costs 2,500 points.

Map – Use Map to exit the location.

Puzzle Items – In order to locate puzzle items you need to combine their two different parts on the location. Mind that hints do not reveal the second part of puzzle items.

*Your cursor changes into a gear when pointing on the part of a puzzle item.

*Your cursor turns into a hand when pointing on the second part of the puzzle item.

Diary Pages, Stamps and Black Cats

 

STAMPS - Each location has three stamps. Find 50 stamps to unlock Unlimited Mode.

DIARY PAGES - Each episode contains a diary page. There are 11 diary pages. Collect them all to solve the final comics game.

BLACK CATS - Each location has one black cat. Collect 32 cats to unlock Puzzle Mode. Finding a cat adds 2,000 points to your score.

Artifacts and Bonus Items

On completing a mini-game you unlock an artifact. Each episode has one mini-game. There are 11 episodes in the game and 11 artifacts to find. As soon as you unlock all the artifacts, you will use them to play the final comics game.

You can hold your mouse over the acquired artifact to read more about it.

There are four kinds of bonus items. Earn points and spend them to buy bonus items. After you purchase a bonus item it will be available only on the unlocked locations. You need to find the bonus item on the location in order to activate it.

Thermometer – costs 10,000 points – gives limited hot and cold ability for your cursor

Jack in the box – costs 20,000 points – gives you 15,000 points

Camera – costs 55,000 points – temporarily reveals six random hidden objects in the scene

Palette – costs 65,000 points – converts the list of objects into pictures

All your trophies are kept in the Trophy Room. There are 37 trophies in the game. Each trophy is awarded for some achievement. Enter the Trophy Room and hover your cursor over any trophy to read how you can get it.

Walkthrough

This walkthrough reveals Stamps, Puzzle Items, Bonus Items, Diary Pages, Black Cats and also all the objects hidden in the locations. Letters from Nowhere 2 has two different sets of objects to find. In this walkthrough you will find only the main or FIRST SET OF ITEMS.
