Pros: Hidden object mini-games. Tons of upgrades. Good graphics and audio.
Cons: One game mode. No innovation.
Jane returns. This time she comes bearing many fresh ideas to help animals suffering from environmental pollution. Take a trip all over the world as you assist Jane with turning zoos into comfortable places for animals to call home.
Jane’s Zoo continues the Jane’s Hotel and Jane’s Realty series. Like its predecessors, Jane’s Zoo is a time management game with the usual mechanics expected of the genre. Obviously, you play Jane as a zoo manager. From sunrise to sunset, you look after funny monkeys, friendly skunks, kind seals and more. In return, you enjoy seeing happy snouts of the zoo's exotic inhabitants.
When the day begins, you let animals out of their homes. After a little playing, they make requests such as feeding them, cleaning their homes and giving them a bath.
Every level has a goal where you must earn a set amount of cash before the working day ends. For fulfillment “services,” you get money. If you work fast without making the animals wait, you’ll get bonus cash. From time to time, various bonuses appear on the lawn that can make an animal happier or bring you more cash.
The most enjoyable part of the game comes after the level ends: shopping! Buy upgrades to make your job easier and the animals happier. First, think about making the animals’ houses more comfortable: buy them a bathhouse, a gym with sport inventory and an aid station. Then, while progressing through the game, you’ll unlock other upgrades like “shoes” that help Jane move faster.
Buying upgrades involves more responsibilities. Thus, when you buy the gym, animals ask you to train them on equipment like dumbbells, balls and others. There are more similar tasks that come as mini-games such as washing your animals.
After walking through some levels, you have the opportunity to play an "ecological expedition." It’s a hidden object mini-game in which you find all the litter in nature. This is hard because you have only one minute to complete the task.
Jane’s Zoo features only one game mode. But each level has normal and expert goals for the reaching. If you are an ace time management player, show off your skills!
Jane’s Hotel and Jane’s Realty are colorful games as is Jane’s Zoo. The graphics appear polished and they feature bright and colorful locations.
Jane’s Zoo serves up a nice sequel to the Jane series. And if you like animals and playing time management games, take off now and download Jane’s Zoo to help her create an animal paradise!
You can't play this game right now, because it hasn't actually been released yet. I played the beta version and like it so much that I've been waiting (and waiting, and waiting, and waiting....oh yeah, have I mentioned that I've been waiting) for Awem to launch this game so I can buy it.
Just a little advice when it comes to the Awem website....whenever you see a game that says "Coming Soon", don't hold your breath that it will actully be released anytime soon. It's been almost 4 months since I first learned of Jane's Zoo, and yet Awem still has not released it. Stellar job Awem.
Cool game. You have to take care of animals. I love this sort of games. I also like Magic Farm: Ultimate Flower game it is like Jane's Zoo. It has not only animals, but plants and different fruits to grow.
