Welcome back to the wonderful underwater world of Fishdom. Exotic fish and incredible aquarium decorations await you in this magnetic sequel toFishdom. Fishdom H2O Hidden Odyssey, a hidden object game, dives into the core of a marine biology major's dream.
Fishdom H2O invites you to help Jennifer, a student who has one more summer before she completes her education at Environmental Protection University. To get a job at Old Barney’s aquarium, the largest marine conservation centre in the world, Jennifer has to prove she is worthy for the job. As an experienced aquarium designer, you’ll create three unique tanks.
Jennifer needs money to build her tanks to show Barney. You begin from diving at the bottom of ocean to find sunken objects to sell for cash. It’s the main task, but not the only as the game's hidden object missions vary.
The game begins with the familiar hidden object game task of searching for listed items. You dive into crowded underwater locations filled with treasures. Ransack the deep and collect all the necessary objects. Next is “Collectables,” a task where you collect ten identical items.
A novelty to traditional seek-and-find games is “Quick Eye.” In this one, you don't search for all the listed items. It provides a list of three items and you only need to find one to get the next list of three. Want another type of game? Enjoy “Gold Rush” - the bonus levels where you grab as much gold as you can in 30 seconds. It’s a great opportunity to increase your cash.
Fishdom H2O Hidden Odyssey features a fun simulation aspect. Having earned enough money you can go shopping! The market opens three departments: Fish, Beauty and Comfort where you buy different types of fish and aquaticpets. Your job is to make the aquariums attractive and comfortable. The shop carries accessories like corals, shells, various ornaments, plants, filters and more (about 30 kinds for each tank). You can put your purchases in the tank wherever you'd like to design your own aquarium.
Like in the first installment of the Fishdom series, three bars sit at the top of the screen. They show the progress of your tank. The more expensive purchases you buy, the quicker the bars will fill up. As soon as you fill all three meters, you’ll win a star trophy and unlock the next tank!
In Fishdom H2O Hidden Odyssey game, you’ll create three different tank themes: Hawaiian Vacation, Wild West and Jolly Roger. If these names are corny, you can rename the tanks. Moreover, your tanks turn into a screensaver reflecting the progress of the game.
There are two game modes in Fishdom 2. If you like to take your time, choose a Relaxed Mode. Adventurous players can race against the clock. Beware that random clicking creates a mess of bubbles. Click on the goldfish to drive the fish away.
H20 Hidden Odyssey provides hints using seahorses. First, you receive five hints. Click for a hint and watch the seahorse swim to find the location of a missing object. Replenish your hints by looking for seahorses on the scene. This adds challenge to the game. Also, from time to time, therequired items sparkle to attract your attention.
If you played the first Fishdom game, you may remember its stunning and colorful graphics. The developers again create great art with its sequel. The backgrounds are very attractive and the locations are stunning. The same with audio. Not only the tunes are nice and enjoyable, but also the voices accompanying the dialogues are pleasant.
The only disadvantage is the shop design and tips system. It is not clear how to buy the items. Some descriptions confuse more than help.
Fishdom H2O Hidden Odyssey is a well-rounded game with various types of activities and a chance to create an underwater paradise of your dreams!
