In these harsh times, the empire needs a new leader, a hero who can return lost glory to the kingdom and wisely guide it through epochs more to come, using his strong will and quick wits. If so, then you are welcome to try and rebuild Persepolis, a renowned Persian capital. It will be your starting point of restoration of the empire’s greatness. With your help, it will regain its divine beauty, amazing architectural monuments and other wonders. If you succeed in you noble mission and bring wealth and prosperity to Persian lands, then you will discover the most valuable and sacred treasure of the ancient kingdom kept in the mysterious Cradle of Persia.
Each game level consists of tiles that you need to break by linking three or more of the same kind. You do this by clicking on the first piece and dragging cursor over adjacent ones. To complete a level, you should break all underlying marble plaques removing tiles on top of them. That poses a serious challenge as the time is limited and there are plenty of obstructions on the way, such as chains, boxes and walls. The gameplay is also spiced up with a number of bonuses that let you avoid obstacles using dynamite, lightning, magic wand, time-stopping hourglasses, etc. You can make bonuses more powerful by upgrading them or making astonishing combos.
Some tiles you break replenish the supplies of lumber, gold and food. These resources can be used between levels to rebuild the city. You are free to choose what building or monument to erect. Each structure adds a useful bonus that will help you in the following levels. This is why when you solve the puzzle, you should not only beat the level in time but try to collect as many resources as possible. The game is a smashing cocktail of puzzle challenges and city construction events that will gradually lead you to the doors of the Cradle of Persia.
I played and passed this game in 2 days, it was fun and very addicting but it seemed to easy. If you have not played Cradle of Rome I suggest that over this but this would be the better one to start with cause it is easier. But overall this was a fun game.
