I sure hope I don't have to start at the beginning of the game when the full version finally is released!  I have had more fun playing this game a second time, and I know better than to go talk to Mike again, because he will end it for me.  No, I just keep going back and forth to the other islands, building my stockpile like a greedy fool!  I have gathered so many pearls, harvested and sold so many vegetables, that I was able to purchase the 'one-hit wonder' of a bow and arrow, and it was well worth the time and investment!!  I can shoot a boar down with one shot...same for snakes, and those have a high market value!  I don't have a recipe for snake meat yet, and I guess I won't find that until I finally get my hands on the full version.
 
I have to say, when I'm playing this game I get really hungry.  The food looks so delicious with vivid colors that it makes my mouth water.  I'd love to try the fruit cocktail, or the cooked crab.  I feel sorry for making Tom work so darn hard and take such a beating from the boars and snakes, but he is holding up nicely, and I keep him well fed.  I don't like fishing one bit, even tho I have the hottest version of a spinner (no bait necessary!), but it still takes too long to reel a fish in, and catching crabs is so much easier.  Potatoes are hard to grow, and expensive to buy, but your seeds randomly pop up watermelons, cabbage, pineapple, etc., but potatoes....not so much.
 
Can I survive another month, waiting for the game to finally appear???

Thanks, iferradino. We'are polishing the game. First, the hero runs faster now and doesn't require food so often as it used to. Second, we've added additional info to the tasks. Now you can see what you need to do any time from your task list. Voicing and localization take much time too. But we are almost through. The Island Castaway is coming September. Later I'll post the exact date here, on the forum .

Thank you for the update, Natalia.  I'm sorry to be so impatient.  I have never been so addicted to a game before!  I hope there will still a lot of ground to cover in the full version.  I'd hate to think I might finish the game 30 minutes after it's released!  Keep up the great work...this is the best game ever!

I keep forgetting to mention how much I enjoy the music background in this game.  When you are an island where there are plenty of fruits, but no boars or snakes, the music is soft and easy-going.  But get the attention of a boar, and the pulse of the music intensifies, and so does my heart rate!  I know I have to run like the dickens!  And when you get close to snakes, the music becomes really creepy and spooky, so you know you'd better watch where you step, because they could be hiding behind a bush where you can't see them.  It's always a pleasure to get back to the easy-going music, and I know I can relax and go about my chores without having to fear for my life!
 
I'm not sure what the voice-overs are going to add to this game...I can't imagine it, but you've done everything perfect so far!!!

It's a fantastic game; I've been anxiously awaiting its release since doing the beta. Most fun, challenging in an entertaining not make-you-angry way & addicting game of this type I've ever played! I'll buy it for certain immediate it comes out.
Still, & cheers to you that you are taking time & good care to perfect the localization--bad grammar/translations, etc would disappoint many people & could distract from the high-quality of your great game.
(Thanks for showing us a picture of the caves. I'd been wondering about them for a month now!)
