The Island: Castaway Comments
Survive the exciting adventure in The Island: Castaway game. More info
If I bought it from Big Fish Gaming, would that count? ![]() Sorry Prairie_Fox if you bought your game from other sites such as Big Fish your game will not have the option to upload your trophies to Awen. Only the games that you buy directly from Awen and this website will give you this option.
You could re-purchase it from Awem, get fun coins, then post your trophies and get more fun coins. Then get Island Castaway 2 from here, get fun coins, play it and post your trophies, get more fun coins, and then you'll have enough for a free game! That's what I did with Island Castaway 1, Golden Trails 1, Romance of Rome and Letters From Nowhere 1 - because I had purchased them before I knew that Awem had their own site! I'd much rather support Awem directly because I totally love their games! I just have to say one more time how much I enjoy this game! Awem has definitely become my favorite game developer and I've enjoyed all the Awem games I've played. But even though I've played this one dozens of times, I enjoy it every time. It never gets old to me. In fact, I just finished replaying it for the I-don't-know-I've-lost-count time, and I look forward to playing it again in a week or so. Thank you, Awem, for your great stuff.
Version: Demo
which is better? two or one
. honestly, the black guy in island castaway 2 is hot even if he's a kid. he has nice eyes only thing brought me to download this games Castaway: The Island was fresh and different from most casual games - a little of this and a little of that, lots of stuff to do. Not really mentally challenging but a great stress reliever. Castaway: The Island 2 gave backstory to the first installment and was a little more sophisticated. There was more to do and a few more challenges but still no tough puzzles. It's more like reading a novel than working through a puzzle book. I really like both games, and can't call one or the other 'better'.
Like Aviatrix, I would say both 'The Island : Castaway' 1 & 2 are excellent... provided one likes simulation games, obviously
And it's difficult to say one is better than the other. The gameplay is quite similar. When we play TIC 2, we recognize lots of 'technics' already encountered and learned in TIC 1. However, the stories are very different. And that is what makes both games so captivating.Apart from this, like Textrekkie I'm considering re-purchasing TIC 1 & 2 from Awem... Too bad, had bought them from Zylom (France), in order to play it in French... Did not know Awem website at that time. But then, no way to publish the trophies I gained In the end, I feel quite ridiculous, with the pseudo I chose, that my trophies are 0 for both TIC 1 and TIC 2 ![]() You have enough FunCoins to get both, and then by posting your trophies you will receive enough FunCoins to find something else fun to do!
You're totally right Aviatrix... But before publishing the trophies, I would have, first, to play again both games. I love them, no problem... But they are quite long. And, more important... so addictive... so when I start, I can't stop before I finish
... which means, start early in the evening, play all night long, till 7 or 8 in the morning Definitely not reasonable Anyway, still considering re-purchasing both games. As you said, I have enough FunCoins... Um... if your user files are intact, your trophies should transfer over.
But I know what you mean about addictive. I have TIC2 on my sloooooow netbook where I installed it to test the faster version released awhile back. And where do I use my netbook? Work. And what do I do? My mouse slowly drifts over to the TIC2 icon and really, it's like it clicks itself. And where am I? Work. I finally had to remove the icon from my desktop. But... my mouse knows it's there... under the desktop... waiting... for a click... to be continued! lol Aviatrix
Right, you're addicted to some games, like me !! ![]() For me, whatever simulation game, as soon as I start, I find it soooo difficult to stop. With Virtual Villagers, I had to stop anyway. More than 25 hours already, and not finished yet. But anyway, I don't like the gameplay. So I will remove it from my PC. TIC 1 & 2 are definitely my very Top favorite simulation games. Uhhh... must not be easy when you are at work, and you think of your games... Hope you'll find a way to deal with it... or find some free time, even at work, to play at least 10-15 minutes ![]() I love the first Castaway game but couldn't get into the second. Now I'm wondering when the next game will be out that continues the adventures of our band of castaways after they left the island?
@ eprn2005: When I asked the same question some time ago, other forumers outlined the fact that TIC 2 was released only very recently... So, the 3rd one should not be ready too soon... We will have to be patient.
And when you say 'couldn't get into the second'... do you mean that you did not like it... um, so sad... personally I loved it as much as the 1st one. But, true, we are all different, so we can't all like/love the same things ![]() I completed the game in 4 hrs but want to know what happens after the last cutscene ?
We all want to know that, Elitebeat! TIC2 is a prequel which gives the history of the Island before Tom and his friends were shipwrecked there. We'll probably have to wait a while for a 3rd installment, but many of us want to know what happens!
Hey I have completed both TIC-1 & TIC-2 100%. Well apparently I had
to play the TIC-1 twice to get 100% but with TIC-2 got 100% in 1st go itself. Really liked playing these awesome games can't wait for TIC-3. Here I have a quest. Is it correct that when I have to provide Nomato with the requested that I not get the crabs anymore (for a while)? Or has my PC lost his 'nerves' because I was too long at the game and should let him quite for a while. I did exit and restart, than exit reboot and restart but still the same. When trying to catch he is running to another way.

Sorry for that ... I found my mistake ... I let him run where he would and saw that when running away from boars I forgot the net - so I can go on.
嘿嘿,中文在这里可能不受用啊。还是写写英语吧。欢迎到百度贴吧-孤岛余生吧来进行讨论。这个游戏早于《迷失》开发,剧情应该没有什么关系。 Hey, my friend, It's better use English than Chinese. And welcome to visit Tieba of baidu for discussing about the game in Chinese. This game has developed before Lost. They may be similar, but don't have relation. I noticed your comment that you have played this game a dozen of times so surely you will be able to help me! Because I am stuck! I am up to Part 3 trying to find Phato, I believe I have to give a gift to Shaman so I can go into the cave to find Phato but I don't know how to give Shaman a gift or what he wants! He has no '!' above his head, which means he doesn't want to tell me anything and hasn't tasked me to do anything so what can I do? Please help I've been searching high and low for the answer on the internet but can't seem to find the answer.

Definitely not reasonable
