All we know is sometime this year. Can't be soon enough for us, though!! We're such selfish people!!

hey ... same question as Femke
so impatient to play Island Castaway 3
anyway, great games (1 and 2), and so addictive. I LOOOOOOVE IT !
LOL - We all want number 3. But we just got number 2 a few months ago. We have to give these developers some time to make the new one (plus some time off for a job well done). If we overwork them too much they might run away!
Golden Trails 3 will be coming out soon (the beta is just finishing up). That will keep us occupied for awhile!

(sorry... find it difficult today to write in English...)
It's just that... I guess we all expected number 2 to give clues regarding all those questions left unanswered in number 1... Except that number 2 was such a different story
So tricky developers !! Now we will be expecting TWO sequels !!
Anyway, loved so much number 2's story... no problem with that !! Just curious about what happened to the 'first team'
But you're right textrekkie... if we overwork them too much... the result might be disappointing... and we don't want that !!!

I wonder if they like chocolates. It's not just for breakfast anymore, you know. Maybe if they had a lot of nice chocolates, they'd be able to work 2 or even 3 times faster. For which we could reward them with even more chocolates!

I agree, castaway_addict! They really pulled a fast one on us! They went back to the past when we were expecting them to go to the future. I wonder if it was necessary for us to understand what happened in the past, before we see the future? And did you notice the little box? It's the same one that was given to Tom when he was leaving the island! So somehow, the past and the future are gonna tie in I think.
And Sister, as usual, your idea is a good one. Chocolates and Red Bull. The official diet of the Olympic Development Team!!
I remember the days when it was Jolt cola and pizza that we fed to the coding monkeys. I'm not sure you can even find Jolt cola any more but it was the first brand that I know of that was marketed around its caffeine content. Of course, Coca-cola was originally a patent medicine containing wine and coca extracts (i.e. cocaine); the Prohibition era in the United States removed the wine but not the cocaine! Alas, since the 20th century it has had only caffeine to keep those programmers coding. And Jolt had more!
To put things in perspective, 8 oz. of a caffeinated soda has 20-40 mg caffeine, while most 'energy drinks' have twice that, and one has over 200 mg in 2 oz! I don't think that one's good for you. Coffee has 100-200 mg in an 8 oz cup so for long coding sessions it's still the beverage of choice. (Note: I don't drink coffee - an oddity, I know!)

I remember Jolt Cola! LOL. I'm not a soda or a coffee drinker. I drink tea - decaf. I'm 'wired' enough naturally! Could you guess that?

Okay, so caffeine and sugar. I wonder how much of each it would take to get GT 3 plus The Island 3 out before summer. Hmmmmmmmm . . . ?

Perhaps in Belarus they drink what we call Turkish coffee, which would explain 1) the massive number of well-programed games that come out of that part of the world, and 2) why giving them more weak American coffee wouldn't give them any more energy!

Perhaps they are naturally inspired - they are so good at what they do all the all the time. Really loving what they do must be a big part of it...so maybe it's 75% love-20% caffeine-5% sugar. (Cookies must play a part in there somewhere...because they are so nice and everybody knows that nice people eat lots of cookies. )

Not sure if this will work, but you can possibly play the demo of all 10 games and upload the trophies. You might get enough Funcoins to buy this game. Try it, and if you don't get enough Funcoins, at least you'll have fun playing. Good luck.

I have also found a lot of Ancestor's Flowers that looked a lot like the flowers on line free delivery that I found the other day - maybe there is some connection? What do I do now that I have the Ancestor's Flowers?
