Just finished the beta and absolutely loved it. Really enjoyed the first GT. The mini-games are different and not so difficult I have to strain my brain or skip to get through. I do eventually figure them out. Hope it's not too much longer before it's released. Way to go AWEM.

Doing a Happy Dance!
I am going to replay GT 1 first to refresh my memory, so I won't make the same mistake I did on 'Letters 2'! I didn't click on any black cats, because I confused it with another game, where if you clicked the black cats, you lost your hint button for a short time!
I will be taking my time, with notebook in hand, and loving every minute of it! Then I will do it all over again!

Finished the beta of this game. It is really good. The graphics and music really set a good atmosphere. Storyline was great. I didn't want it to stop because I want to find out what happens. Hope I don't have to wait too long for the game to come out. The mini-games were quite fun in it and not too difficult. I did need to use a lot of hints in the beginning because items were hidden very well. That made it a bit of a challenge. It looks like a winner. No technical difficulties!!
Edit to Add: There are a lot of trophies to earn. I just found the trophy room and it looks so inviting. Can't wait to fill it up.

i did the beta game also today and i think its a great game to add to my other games also, i like the music and the graphic was alo great i hope they come out with number 3 also.

Great game!!!! I already did the survey. I didn't have any issues the first time around, but I went to play it again and had problems with the books in the mini game. They where not landing on the shelves neatly. They overlapped and floated. I couldn't complete the mini game, as it would only let me take books off a shelf and to a shelf by switching. So I couldn't add a book to the end. I ended up skipping the mini game to go on.

Hey habe auch das Spiel getestet und war begeistert, und hoffe das es bald kommt. Awem hat super Spiele weiter so. Toller Sound und die Grafik ist auch ok.

I play/finished the beta last night...short beta test so yep, ended up playing it over and over. LOL Awesome game, Awem stayed with giving the game some of the best graphics ever! The only problem I had with the game was on one of the mini games...the one with the books. I couldn't get them to go in order..like when moving to put them in order (on each row), they overlapped one another so I had trouble seeing books that were smaller as the bigger books would hide them, I'll talk more about that in the Survey. It also has replay value which I really liked!
I love the way the town looks...so real, even down to the people moving and birds moving as well. I'd love to have it as a Screensaver! (hint hint) Great game...playing it, it ran so smooth...now to sit back and wait for it to come out!

I just finished the beta a little bit ago, and I'm pretty happy with it over all. Awem really hides things, but I think I'm getting wise to them now. I like the new shooting gallery and having to be careful to not shoot the citizens. That will probably cost me a few bandits! The peg solitaire game almost had me giving up, but I finally got it. I absolutely love the graphics, tho I think they should be lighter. I'm going to play it again and see if I can find more 4-leaf clovers. Nice going, Awem!

 Pros: Another great game with awesome graphics, like the 1st game, the town seems so real, I like how the people moved in it making it even more real. (they didn't walk around, but would move their arms) the cowboy actually looked like the rain was bothering him! (Would make a great ScreenSaver!) The game ran so smoothly, no jerky cursor here! Also has replay value, I played it several times and each time there were new items to find.
 Cons: The mini game on the books, I believe it may have a bug in it, as everytime I played this game, I had the same trouble with the books over lapping one another and at times, looked like some of them were sitting on top of the other books on 2nd and 3rd shelf or maybe those could be called, 'floaters', I could not finish that mini game so had to skip it but was only one I skipped, other mini games and the game itself, played great!
 Comment: hmmm pretty much what I said in the, "Pros". At one time I just sat back and watched the town, it raining, fog over by the trees, rain spashing in the lake/creek, smoke coming from one Chimney, while lights were on in other houses. The Cowboy trying to get dry over in the arch way and the Mayor (or I took to be the Mayor), standing at his office door, maybe checking on his town...yep, this would be a great ScreenSaver!
The game itself, is very clear, I had no problems finding the items that one or two hints couldn't take of. Enjoyed the mini game with the exception of the one where you have to place the books in a certain order but that will be on, "Cons". I don't know where Awem finds the people that make these games "come alive" but they need a raise! LOL
Hope we won't have to wait to long for it to come out.

Cyndihugs, I found that if I moved the books to the color of shelf they belong on first, it was easier to re-arrange them by size. Some of the books were too wide to fit in the slot, so I would have to find a smaller one to put in there until I made more room. I didn't see any overlapping like you did. And the patterns on the spines of the books were identical to the books below or above.

Hi Iferradino, I tried moving the books to the color of the shelf they belonged on first as well (I played the game for a couple of hours and each time tried something different), have to say I didn't pay attention to the patterns on the spines of the book but will when I play it again tonight...after playing it the first time, it only took around 15 minutes to finish the game so it was easy to play several times over. I noticed that 'mejrdalman' several post above us, had the same problem except that it did play correct for them the first game....when I tried to move my books by one color only (ran out of other color book while trying to play it one time), I would click on the right side of the book shelf but the book would go to the far left and 'hang' there, almost like between the first and second shelf, in fact, the books would block some of the other books on the 2nd shelf...can't remember now if it did it to the 3rd shelf or not, I think so but will check it when I play it again later. Thanks for your reply and help though~

I didn't mention this in the survey, but the 4-leaf clovers seem really out of place in the theme of this game. I'd like to know if there will be some notification if we've found all of the clovers in a location. I'd really hate to miss them, but I don't like looking for needles in haystacks all day, either!

That's a good point. I just assumed there'd be 3 in each location, not that I found many!
I really enjoyed the beta. The graphics were beautiful, mini-puzzles were enjoyable and the innocents in the shooting gallery meant less trigger finger and more care! GT2 looks set to be another winner.

I tried a few more times and had the same problem with the mini game one time, and not the other. I've also tried it a couple of different ways. I had the same issue with books blocking books etc.

AWEM, One of the things that was vexing to me in the first game was that on replay, I couldn't shoot enough bandits in the HO locations to fill all the trophies. Once I knew where all the hidden objects were, I could finish a location so fast that the bandits wouldn't pop up. I would sit back and wait to pick the last item, hoping to get one or two.
Same thing with this game. Especially after you get to unlimited mode and try to complete 20-30 items in under a minute....you won't get the bandits popping in to your hidden object search anymore. I think the bandits should pop in more often!

About those clovers, I just played the game again, and found 3 clovers in Grandpa's cabinet, and a window popped up telling me that I had found all the clovers in that location. I only found 2 in the mansion, tho, and couldn't find any more.

I just finished the demo. Love it! I agree great graphics. The sounds of the birds, the raining it was so nice I too just paused for a while to look at the town, just so many little details. I had trouble with the bookcase the first time because i tried to move them, the second time I just clicked on them and I had no trouble. Glad to hear that they'll tell you when you found all the clovers in a scene.Awem you are leading the pack! P.S. I am so rooting for CRADLE OF ATLANTIS, how awesome would that be?

There was no problem with the book puzzle on my end, it is really simple and not a glitch! The beta is to short and I am really out on the fence on this one!
Yes, the clovers do not fit, they should be doubloons or something to that effect and they are not bandits in this era with the game being based on pirates, that is what they are Pirates that we are shooting, Argh !
Suzy, Go Atlantis!!! Egypt has been way over done in games of late! Just think of the possibilities on the graphics for that game, sure beats the Egyptian Desert!!!

Just sent in my survey! I take what I said about the book puzzle back, there is a glitch when you replay, even if you use a new user name, it is still there! Found a few others too, having to do with the hidden items and the trophy for completing a location in under a minute! Will Henry speak, lol
Another thing you might want to consider doing, is changing the text on the icon, the western style lettering doesn't fit, and maybe stick a pirate hat on top! Forgot to mention that in the survey!
