   Farmscapes is a nice mix of HO and match 3, but the best thing is to upgrade the farm. The game has captured me for hours (can't stop playing, though have to prepare dinner for my family
 ). one more good surprise for me is 2 game modes , so it'll take a lot of time to beat this game. graphics is excellent! Have fun!  I'm a Match 3 fan, which is why this game is right up my alley! I am also a sim-fan of the light variety, so restoring the farm and earning money mainly by doing M3 that I really liked.
The little bit of HO didn't deter me (I'm not a HO-fan), and some of it seemed to be more of the puzzle-solving variety - find the key, find a way to get to the key, find food for the bird that will get the key - etc. I agree that this appear to be a long-lasting game, giving excellent replay value and greater variety than straight M3s. The characters and story were really nice, I especially liked the grandkid - he was very well made. His antics really had me thinking of a 12-year old boy, lol. Version: Full

Pros: Match3 with great variety.
Cons: Power-ups were not all that helpful, and one couldn't save them if unused.
Comment: Beautiful M3 with little minigames of HO and easy puzzle-solving - in addition to the main objective: restore grandpa's farm - by earning money selling the produce you grow (i.e by matching)-in Grandpa's store actually while you are matching. The characters are hilarious, the story sweet and the comments made by the customers streaming by Grandpa's store had me laughing. They would comment on anything, even things happening during matching-play - if you used a bomb-powerup someone would complain about the loud noice, lol. Just wonderful!
