I bought this game off of apple store and I paid 25.00 for it but it does not let me play .It said it would take two days but I don't know how to get it to work my ref: #39615784. I Would Like to buy more games in future if it works. Thank you, Pam Wein

I just ordered this gme for my mac and can't play it. I never received the confirmation email and the game did not download to my computer - my credit card was rapidly charged however.....
Would appreciate a reply

I recently bought this game from the macgamestore. It's truly addictive. However, the programming is very buggy. It comes with a built-in user 'truncer' and there are problems with creating any other users. In addition, after about level 30, the game starts displaying erratic screens. There is also a serious problem with saving game information once you reach the preist level; you loose all new buildings and accumulated resources, although it remembers the total score and level. I tried downloading the game a second time, but had the same experience. Did you guys ever beta test the mac version? I have Mac OSX 10.5.6 on a 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, so I don't think it's a hardware problem. I'll give you a chance to respond before I write a scathing review at the macgamestore website.

Thanks for your help. Actually it’s the first game we release for Mac. That’s why some bugs are possible to appear. An updated version of the game will be available in about a week. We will fix the glitches you describe. Thanks again.
A new Mac version is a very good idea. I think part of the problem may be how your game deals with background programs, such as parental controls and energy-saver. Hope you can figure it out soon. However, there also appears to be something major that happens to your saved game information whenever the game moves from peasant to merchant, or from merchant to priest. I'll hold off from writing a review until I see how your next release performs. In the future, I hope you recognize the business sense of testing a product before you start charging consumers full price. The game in its current state is worth perhaps $5, not the $20 that I paid a few days ago.
Is the newer Mac version of CoR coming out soon? I'm interested in downloading, but I've waited to purchase based on the concerns listed on the forum. Have the bugs been fixed? When can we expect the new version?

Cradle of Rome is a classic puzzle game.
It's like high hills and classic has been always in fashion.
Love Cradle games!!! Look forward to Rome 2.

Cons: The mouse control! Very very hard to work. Needs to be tightened up.
Comment: I played the Rome Puzzle version of this game and it is far superior. I would buy that in a second. This is very frustrating after playing that version.

Comment: I love this game. I've finished it 2 times. I can't wait for Romance of Rome. Have played Cradle Of Persia Demo tons of times but cannot buy it (I'm getting it for my birthday (3 weeks.) I had no cons except that, being a Mac user, Rome 2 wasn't available. In general, all of the "Cradle" games are excellent and I hope there will be many "Romance" games as well if they are going to be as good as the current games.
