I may restart the game and play in Relaxed Mode as the timed mode was really frustrating for me. 

I enjoy the challenges of this game.  Some of the levels are very hard.

How do you become Paraoh? I t said I didn't finish building the city after I completed 100 levels.

You have to make sure you build all the building before you reach level 100.

you have to buy all the buildings that are offered for all the levels.  If you get to the last game which is 100, and you haven't made enough points to buy everything that is shown on the screen for that level, you finished the game but can't become pharoh till you go back and earn all the points that you need.  Each level takes about 20 games.  If you don't earn the point, like if you're playing for speed and not points then at the end, you haven't purchased all the buildings.

How do you publish the trophies from the game?  Do you have to have all the trophies?

Hi, Carole,

Game must be bought from Awem Studio website. When you are in the game, you got chalice/trophy displayed in the upper-middle screen of the main menu. Click on it. Trophies must be earned first, so I assumed, that you bought a game from here and registered it. Once you have all the trophies, you can get funcoins from it and of course, in your personal profile.

I really like all of the cradle games but this one I just can't beat  in either mode just really upset not sure willing to start over again

What seems to be the problem? Did you play Blitz or Tourney Mode, or just regular levels? If you played regular levels, it is all about good selections and speed, predictions and some luck. You also need to predict how and where some tiles will move, when the old ones are matched and destroyed. If you ran out of time, you can use resources. Bonuses are also very helpful. Game is very forgiving in that regard and relatively easy. Some levels are more challenging than the others, especially, if the skulls are present and if you don't have the right bonuses for the job, so it's a good idea to clear corners first, if possible, otherwise you might have some difficulties with a level.

I have waited so long to receive and play the Cradle of Egypt game to find out it was the most frustrating game of the Cradle series....when approaching levels 75 and over, it was almost impossible to finsih the timed version!  I thought I bought all the buildings up to level 100 to find out that I did not become Pharoah...I stopped playing after level 100 and was satisfied that I was even able to reach that level.  The only thing I liked about Cradle of Egypt was the incredible music...other than that it was nearly an impossible task to attain Pharaoh.

This doesn't work on my machine. I don't know why, everything else does. I don't have any with trouble with Cradle of Rome & Cradle of Persia. I do though, with Cradle of Rome 2 & Cradle of Egypt.

I had the same problem: the older games CoR and CoP were running, but not CoR2. The reason was, that my PC system wasn't fit for the new games. A new grafic card fixed the problem.

I decided to purchase the Collector's Edition and am at level 58. All of you have scared me about levels 75 and up . I've earned whatever trophies I thought I could earn early on - there's no way to earn the trophy for finishing 100 levels other than, well, finishing 100 levels. When I got the trophy for 10 lives I published my trophies so far because I'm afraid they'll evaporate!

I have no idea how I earned the skull trophy. I thought that 'without a penalty' meant that I had to destroy skulls without matching them, is that right? I was grouping a number of skulls over in one corner of the puzzle so I could blast them with the Winged Sun, but before I did that I suddenly got the trophy and I have no idea how.

That was lucky that I didn't use my Winged Sun because that board was one with a lower section and I couldn't make any matches in it, with skulls or anything else. No matches meant no new tiles dropping in which meant no matches. I don't remember what level it was but it was an Ankh board, because I remember thinking that the bonus I could regenerate would do me no good.

I had used all of my bonuses except the Winged Sun trying to shake up that section, and was ready to throw in the towel and lose a life (I was at 9 lives at the time, close but no good), when I remembered the Winged Sun. It worked, and I was able to finish the level AND it gave me my 10th life. Woot!

You are right: To get this trophy it is necessary to match other tiles and indirectly also match skulls....
