From the very moment the old classic Atomic Bomberman game appeared on PC it was loved by thousands of people. The secret of its popularity was hidden behind a simple game structure. A small funny character walks around the labyrinth, placing bombs, which don't always blast when or where he expects. After having destroyed all the bad guys he moves to another level. I remember I became so addicted to one of the
remakes of this Atomic Bomberman, called Dyna Blaster that I had to limit the time I spent in front of the PC screen to prevent myself from becoming a virtual girl ;). Atomic Bomberman was a great game. But that was many years ago. What about today?
The computer industry is developing very fast. Most of the games from the late 80s have disappeared forever or at least until the game developers could find an idea for a game that would be worth their time to create. Atomic Bomberman is one of the few, which has the ability to not only be continued, but even to be transformed into 3D.
This is much like Bomberman 64 released for Nintendo, which was given the title, classic bomberman game. You may find some of its remakes online and even get them for free, but those are of inferior quality, and are sometimes even dangerous to your computer, as some have encoded viruses.
If you want to download the best up-to-date version of classic Atomic Bomberman game I recommend to you a new arcade game called Bombardix. This game is the best creation of the genre, which was recently brought into being by a young talented group of developers for shareware games working at Awem Studio - developer of classic arcade games. Two years ago they started their business and now they are flourishing in the sphere of fun pc game industry. They have released several hits
including this brilliant remake of Atomic Bomberman Game and are currently running other promising projects.
Bombardix has an excellent and updated graphic structure that provides the possibility to get into one of five picturesque worlds: Deep Forest, Desolate Wilderness, Swamp-Fever, Diamond-Mine, and Southerly Town, where you are to accomplish a seemingly simple task: blast all of the enemies with your bombs and to find the door to the next world. In order to add to the depth of the game there appear various bonuses: Extra Life, Speed up, Extra Bomb, Monster Freeze, Wall Walking and Power Shield. Besides all these bonuses, you are occasionally given some additional ones. Time-Fuse is useful in case you want to detonate any bomb you have already placed. Extra Explosion extends the radius of an air-blast. And
finally, Armageddon makes your life easier in all ways. As soon as you get it all of the walls blow up and the door opens in front you. The only thing to do is pick up the remaining bonuses while avoiding running into the enemies, and proceed to the next level.
As you see, this remake of Atomic Bomberman gives you an opportunity to place yourself into the role of a man of tactics and a man of strategy. It's also great for children! It helps them develop logical thinking. And it's great for adults as well, if they want to have some fun and to relax during lunch or. when their boss is away from the office ;). If you want real and updated pleasure from the old Atomic Bomberman game, chose Bombardix and you will never be disappointed.
